Prices

£6 per class

Fees for all our children’s classes are payable half-termly in advance (usually 6 weeks) or multiples of £6 in advance for children joining part way through a term.

One trial class to try it out offered at the price of £6; please contact us if you wish to come along for a trial class; to make sure there is available place for your child.

Discounts for siblings: £5 each

Children learn basic ballet dance technique and develop their physical, musical and coordination skills. Creative element of the class encourages dancers to learn both independently and in groups through a range of inspired creative tasks and improvisations. This class encourages participants to discover and explore the relationship between dance and music in order to develop their creativity and confidence.

Class Structure:

Warm Up- a creative warm up focusing on body awareness and the use of all body parts,

Ballet basics: Through imaginary and short excercices children will be introduced to: Positions of arms and feet, Turnout, Plie, Grand-Plie, Releve, Tendu and linking steps.

Jumps: Children will have chance to learn and practice Hops, Skips, Leaps and Gallops

Dance Routine: we are also working on a short dance routine to be performed at Christmas and End of the Year performance/Open Classes for parents, friends and families

Stretches and Cool down: our class will finish with safe stretches to cool down
